Job summary

Levi Strauss & Co. is seeking a Manager, ERP AI Engineering to lead the deployment of AI-enabled ERP capabilities across SAP S/4HANA and connected platforms. You will translate business requirements into scalable, secure solutions using SAP Business AI, Joule, AI agents, and governance frameworks.

You will lead global engineering teams, drive release readiness, and ensure production stability with measurable operational improvements across PTP, OTC, DTC, and FICO processes.

Qualifications

• 12–15+ years of SAP technology experience with S/4HANA and enterprise automation.
• Deep expertise in SAP Business AI, Joule, SAP AI Core, SAP BTP, Integration Suite, RAG and AI Agents.
• Proven experience designing, deploying, and supporting AI-enabled SAP solutions and agent-driven processes.

Summary of the role: The Manager, ERP AI Engineering leads the forward deployment of AI-enabled ERP capabilities across SAP S/4HANA and connected platforms. This role translates business process intent into secure, reliable, and scalable solutions using SAP Business AI, Joule, AI agents, process intelligence, observability, and governed automation. Partnering closely with SAP functional, engineering, and support teams, the leader drives deployment readiness, release execution, controls, monitoring, incident prevention, and self-healing operations across critical functions such as PTP, OTC, DTC, and FICO. With deep SAP expertise and strong agentic AI engineering discipline, the role advances autonomous ERP operations while ensuring responsible AI usage, strong production reliability, measurable operational improvement, and controlled execution for business‑critical processes.

About the Job

Lead the design, deployment, and support of AI-enabled SAP automation and agentic workflows across SAP S/4HANA and connected platforms. Architect scalable solutions using SAP Business AI, Joule, SAP AI Core, RAG, AI Agents, MCP, A2A, and intelligent automation frameworks. Translate business requirements into technical designs, integrations, monitoring, controls, and production‑ready solutions. Build reusable AI agent frameworks with governance, guardrails, human‑in‑the‑loop controls, and autonomous execution capabilities. Troubleshoot and optimize AI‑driven processes, integrations, workflows, and automation using observability, monitoring, and trace analysis tools. Establish operational monitoring, auditability, performance metrics, exception management, and continuous improvement practices. Ensure compliance with security, privacy, SOX, responsible AI, and enterprise governance standards. Lead global engineering teams, drive release readiness, production stability, stakeholder communication, and delivery excellence.

About You

12-15+ years of SAP technology experience with S/4HANA, deployment engineering, and enterprise automation; Fashion/Retail experience preferred. Deep expertise in SAP Business AI, Joule, SAP AI Core, SAP BTP, Integration Suite, RAG, AI Agents, and intelligent automation. Proven experience designing, deploying, and supporting AI-enabled SAP solutions and agent‑driven business processes. Strong understanding of SAP business processes including FICO, OTC, PTP, sales, billing, and financial postings. Experience leading production support, incident management, release governance, observability, and continuous improvement initiatives. Hands‑on troubleshooting across AI agents, integrations, workflows, interfaces, and enterprise SAP platforms. Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and delivery governance skills with experience leading global teams. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
