Description
We are looking for a passionate individual to manage and develop the Hydrogeology capabilities to deliver world-class services to our clients globally. Our people are at the heart of our business; we seek someone who loves to develop, manage, and motivate their team.
- Coordinate field campaigns to collect data related to hydrocensus, hydrogeological settings, aquifer hydraulic properties, groundwater levels/quality, and mine dewatering requirements.
- Interpret technical data from fieldwork and sources like historical documents and maps to build conceptual models for groundwater flow and quality.
- Design and execute investigations, including groundwater measurements, sampling, or ongoing monitoring, to develop hydrogeological models.
- Apply numerical and analytical modeling techniques to predict future trends and impacts on groundwater flow and quality.
- Collaborate closely with specialists from other disciplines.
- Ensure delivery of best practice environmental standards, consulting relevant government agencies and clients as needed.
- Liaise with clients and authorities effectively.
- Compile and write reports for clients and authorities.
- Continuously improve and develop departmental services.
- Develop a business plan for the department, including services and sales opportunities.
- Act as a key account manager, identifying business opportunities and maintaining a client-centric approach.
- Identify departmental leads, organize, plan, and track proposals.
- Coordinate and submit proposals efficiently.
- Manage workload and resources effectively within the department.
- Oversee performance management and probation processes for team members.
- Mentor and develop team members.
- Report on departmental performance and ensure revenue targets are met.
- Manage recruitment, selection, and onboarding processes for the department.
- Manage departmental financial expenditure against the budget.
