• Coordinate field campaigns to collect data related to hydrocensus, hydrogeological settings, aquifer hydraulic properties, groundwater levels/quality, and mine dewatering requirements.
• Interpret technical data from fieldwork and sources like historical documents and maps to build conceptual models for groundwater flow and quality.
• Design and execute investigations, including groundwater measurements, sampling, or ongoing monitoring, to develop hydrogeological models.
• Apply numerical and analytical modeling techniques to predict future trends and impacts on groundwater flow and quality.
• Collaborate closely with specialists from other disciplines.
• Ensure delivery of best practice environmental standards, consulting relevant government agencies and clients as needed.
• Liaise with clients and authorities effectively.
• Compile and write reports for clients and authorities.
• Continuously improve and develop departmental services.
• Develop a business plan for the department, including services and sales opportunities.
• Act as a key account manager, identifying business opportunities and maintaining a client-centric approach.
• Identify departmental leads, organize, plan, and track proposals.
• Coordinate and submit proposals efficiently.
• Manage workload and resources effectively within the department.
• Oversee performance management and probation processes for team members.
• Mentor and develop team members.
