ACEC Research Institute, the independent research arm of the American Council of Engineering Companies, seeks a proactive donor engagement and program manager to oversee the scholarship programs and community roadmap initiatives. You will coordinate with donors, members, and providers, ensuring timely delivery of benefits and reports, while driving engagement across platforms.
Responsibilities include managing the Roadmap and RCEP, supporting fundraising events, and assisting the Executive
Responsible for managing engagement of ACEC Members and donors of the ACEC Research Institute. Manage the annual scholarship program and the Community Building Roadmap tool. Manage the RCEP program, providing support to providers and users. Oversee delivery of all donor benefits. Communicate regularly with the Institute’s donors, board and committee members, association staff, state Member Organizations, and senior executives within the engineering industry, as well as students interested in engineering careers.
Assist in board and committee meeting logistics, working with ACEC meetings team.
Assist in fundraising events.
Assist Executive Director as needed.
The ACEC Research Institute is the independent research arm of the American Council of Engineering Companies (ACEC), the business association of the nation’s engineering industry. ACEC was recently recognized as a “2026 Best Place to Work in the Greater Washington Area” by the Washington Business Journal. The Institute’s mission is to deliver knowledge and business strategies that guide and elevate the engineering industry, and to be the leading source of research and thought leadership to create a more sustainable, safe, secure and technically advanced built environment. The Institute is a 501c3 nonprofit organization launched in February 2020.
ACEC, founded in 1906, is a national federation of 51 state and regional organizations representing nearly 6,000 engineering firms and 600,000+ engineers, surveyors, architects, and other specialists nationwide. The American Council of Engineering Companies member firms drive the design of America’s infrastructure and built environment.

We offer a competitive salary range of $60,000 - $75,000 annually, commensurate with candidates’ experience and qualifications.
