Southwire Company is seeking an EHS Manager to lead the environmental health and safety function across assigned operations. You will provide technical guidance to leadership and develop programs that foster a culture of safety, compliance and environmental stewardship, operating with direction from the Plant Manager and coordinating cross-functionally.
The role focuses on regulatory compliance, safety training, audits, and continuous improvement to reduce risk.

The EHS Manager manages the enviromental healt and safety (EHS) function across assigned operations and provides leadership to professional team members and/or supervisors. The EHS Manager is accountable for the performance and results of the EHS team, ensuring ocmpliance with all federal, state and local safety and environmental regulations. This individual adapts departmental plans and priorities to address operational challenges and evolving regulatory standards. Provides technical guidance and experties to leadership, employees, and customers while developing and implementing programs that foster a culture of safety, compliance and environmental stewardship. Operates with guidance from Plant Manager and corporate safety. Collaborates cross-functionality to integrate EHS practices into business operations.
Bachelor's Degree in Safety, Industrial Hygiene, Engineering or related science
Minimum five years experience in a manufacturing environment
Must have experience in waste management, airwater permiting, emergency response and regulatory compliance (EPA, OSHA)
Bachelor's degree in safety, industrial hygiene, engineering or related science.
Prefer 8-11 years experience in manufacturing environment.
Licenses/Certificates: OSHA 10-hour, OSHA 30-hour, ASP, CSP, SMS
