Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team that educates parents about quality child care availability, enhances early learning, and supports programs in the HGAC region.
• Oversee administration of early child care quality programs policies and procedures including contracting and budgeting.
• Provide technical assistance, training and expertise in TRS and early care quality policies and family engagement practices.
• Oversee and manage TRS program data collection and review; coordinate data sharing and outcomes.
• Coordinate EEC programs to connect families with child care financial assistance, information, referrals, and family supports.
• Develop and maintain materials and communication methods to ensure families have accessible information on financial assistance and early child care programs.

What will I be doing?

• Lead and manage a team that is charged with ensuring parents are educated about the availability of quality child care, enhance children's early learning, and support early learning programs working to improve the quality of child care services.
• Oversee the administration of the TWC's early child care quality programs policies and procedures including management of the contracting and budgeting process, in the HGAC region
• Provide technical assistance, training and expertise in Texas Rising Star (TRS) and early care quality policies and procedures and family engagement practices
• Oversee and manage the collection and review Texas Rising Star (TRS) Program caseload related data; and coordinate data collection, analysis and data sharing findings and outcomes.
• Effective coordinate EEC programs/organizations to connect families and early education programs to an infrastructure where access to child care financial assistance, information and referrals, and family supports is coordinated, efficient, and effective
• Develop and maintain materials and communication methods to ensure families have accessible, accurate and timely information on TWC financial assistance and early child care programs and resource

Key Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Education, Government, Buisness, or a related field.
• Demonstrated experience in TWC Texas Rising Star (TRS) Program, TWC early child care quality, or related roles.
• Exceptional leadership and project management skills.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication abilities.

Do you have...

• Bachelor's degree in an applicable academic discipline or related field of study
• 5 years of experience working with local government, nonprofit programs, school, or in job-related duties
