This position will work closely with Technical, Hotel Refurbishment, DDPMO and Purchasing teams to ensure that dry dock materials are tracked and delivered on time for designated projects. The ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Engineering or Finance and 5‑8 years of material experience working in material logistics and 3rd party contractor management.

Essential Functions
  • Establish key metrics and successful criteria for projects.
  • Responsible for timetable and deadline development and communication with stakeholders to ensure timely execution of the material logistics to support projects. Must elevate to upper management when issues are not occurring in a timely manner.
  • Management and implementation of reverse logistics and product returns.
  • Lessons learned at the end of each project with major stakeholders.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
  • Owns end‑to‑end logistics planning and execution for dry dock and special projects across the CCL fleet, including inbound, on‑site, and reverse logistics.
  • Manages multiple concurrent dry dock projects, each with strict timelines, site‑specific constraints, and high material volumes.
  • Directly accountable for 3PL provider performance, including contract oversight, daily execution, service levels, and issue resolution.
  • Establishes and maintains master shipping schedules, cut‑off dates, and exception management processes critical to project success.
  • Partners cross‑functionally with Technical, Hotel Refurbishment, DDPMO, Purchasing, and upper management to align logistics execution with overall project objectives.
  • Oversees development and tracking of project metrics, KPIs, and success criteria for logistics performance.
  • Solves complex, time‑critical logistics challenges involving schedule compression, vendor delays, customs issues, port constraints, and capacity limitations.
  • Anticipates downstream impacts of material delays and proactively adjusts schedules, routing, or provider execution to protect dry dock milestones.
  • Identifies performance gaps in 3PL execution and implements corrective action plans to restore service levels.
  • Balances competing priorities across projects while minimizing cost, risk, and disruption to dry dock operations.
  • Exercises judgment to determine when issues require escalation to senior leadership, providing clear data, root‑cause analysis, and recommended solutions.
  • Leads post‑project lessons‑learned reviews, translating issues into process improvements for future dry docks.
Impact
  • Directly impacts on‑time completion of dry dock projects, protecting vessel delivery dates and fleet readiness.
  • Reduces operational and financial risk by ensuring materials are tracked, delivered, and staged accurately and on time.
  • Improves logistics cost control and service reliability through effective 3PL performance management.
  • Enhances cross‑functional execution by aligning logistics timelines with technical and refurbishment workstreams.
  • Strengthens CCL’s dry dock execution capability through standardized metrics, improved vendor performance, and repeatable best practices.
  • Contributes to overall project success, guest experience outcomes, and long‑term fleet asset value.
Leadership
  • Serves as the primary on‑site logistics authority during dry docks, setting expectations and direction for external logistics providers.
  • Leads through influence rather than direct authority across multiple internal departments and third‑party contractors.
  • Establishes performance standards, metrics, and accountability for 3PL partners.
  • Provides clear, consistent communication to stakeholders regarding schedules, risks, exceptions, and recovery plans.
  • Models strong ownership, urgency, and accountability in a high‑visibility, deadline‑driven environment.
  • Drives continuous improvement by embedding lessons learned into standardized logistics practices.
