Job summary

Carnival Corporation in South Florida is seeking a qualified CDL driver to transport goods between corporate locations and vendors. The role requires operating company vehicles safely, inspecting before and after trips, and maintaining delivery records.

You will lift and move materials, may use a forklift, and must be able to work Monday-Thursday in-office with Fridays from home, located in the Miami/Ft. Lauderdale area.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • CDL – Group A/B with Class A or B license.
  • No moving traffic violations in last 2 years.
  • Valid driver's license for the position.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Able to lift over 50 pounds; may stand long periods.
  • Work indoors/outdoors; may operate machinery.

Job description

Responsible for transporting goods to local vendors safely and efficiently within a designated service area. Provides transportation services for company equipment, offload materials, and supplies between corporate locations and vendors. Operates fleet vehicles to support daily business operations and logistics needs. Provides transportation services between company facilities, terminals, warehouses, medical facilities or distribution centers.

Essential Functions
  • Vehicle Operation & Safety: to safely operate company vehicles under various road and weather conditions. To Inspect vehicle before and after trips and Maintain accurate delivery records.
  • Material Handling & Equipment: to lift, load, unload, and transport materials safely while following proper handling procedures. Forklift experience preferred.
  • Work Style & Adaptability: to work independently with minimal supervision while managing multiple priorities. to adapt to changing schedules and transportation needs.
  • Communication & Compliance: to collaborate effectively with coworkers, supervisors, and customers while maintaining a professional demeanor. to identify potential safety hazards, respond appropriately to emergencies, and comply with all company policies and regulatory requirements.

Essential/Minimum qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • CDL - Group A - Commercial Drivers License; Class A or B Driver License (CDL)

  • Must possess valid driver's license appropriate for the position

Essential Experience Required

Work Conditions: Work may require employee to work inside and/or outside with exposure to changing climate and/or operate machinery.

Physical Demands. Must be able to lift in excess of 50 pounds.

This position is classified as “in-office.” As an in-office role, it requires employees to work from a designated Carnival office in South Florida Monday through Thursday each week. Employees may work from their homes on Fridays. Candidates must be located in (or willing to relocate to) the Miami/Ft. Lauderdale area.
