Job Description:
The Manager of Digital Services is a leadership role responsible for guiding a team of technical caregivers, including software engineers, technical analysts, and scrum masters, to manage the Intermountain Health website. This role collaborates closely with Digital Technology Services and partners with Marketing, Consumer Experience, and Operations to achieve regional and system-wide digital goals.
Essential Functions
- Ensure completion of software development lifecycle activities such as design reviews, unit testing, and build and release management.
- Oversee agile processes, ceremonies, and adhere to best practices and enterprise standards.
- Collaborate with the design team to document technical architecture and implementation requirements.
- Develop and assess digital workplans aligned with enterprise objectives, business plans, and consumer/caregiver needs.
- Implement and manage digital workplans, overseeing team capacity and workload.
- Enhance website performance based on consumer and caregiver insights and other data.
- Prioritize and drive multiple projects independently and collaboratively.
- Manage complex, matrixed digital projects from concept to launch, measuring results against business needs.
- Build relationships with stakeholders to support digital objectives.
- Assist in scoping and evaluating digital projects for operational and strategic fit.
- Support budget management.
- Spend up to 25% of time coding or developing custom software.

Qualifications
Required Qualifications
- Experience in digital, software engineering, or technical product management roles
- Effective oral and written communication skills
- Proven agile project management experience and ability to prioritize effectively
- Experienced coder capable of delivering software features and bug fixes on schedule
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, technology, or related field from an accredited institution
- Experience leading technical teams
- Expertise in React or similar JavaScript frameworks and proficiency in C#
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to see, read, and assess information on screens and labels
- Frequent verbal communication with providers, colleagues, and patients
- Manual dexterity for manipulating supplies and using a computer

Work Hours:
40 hours per week
Compensation:
$50.22 - $77.53 per hour, dependent on experience
