Job summary

Providence’s Mission Hospital Regional Medical Center seeks a Director of Imaging Services to oversee all technical and clerical staff, ensuring safe patient care and compliance with QA, JCAHO and state requirements. You will manage imaging operations and drive quality improvements in a large hospital setting.

The role emphasizes leadership, regulatory compliance, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to maintain high standards of imaging services, while supporting Providence's mission

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required; 2-5 years healthcare management experience.
• Graduate of an AMA approved School of Radiologic Technology or Allied Health Profession.
• National MRI, Nuclear Medicine, Sonography, or Radiologic Technologist certifications must be obtained upon hire.
• American Heart Association BLS certification upon hire.
• California Diagnostic Radiologic Technology Certification or California Fluoroscopy Certificate/Permit or Therapeutic Radiologic Technology Certification.
• National Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer certification upon hire.

Under the general direction of the Director, Imaging Svcs oversees all technical and clerical staff in the Imaging Services department. Oversees technical procedures, Quality, JCAHO and State requirements. Ensures the workflow of safe and effective patient care. Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree for existing caregivers must obtain within 2 years of hire date.
• Coursework/Training: Graduate of an AMA approved School of Radiologic Technology or Allied Health Profession.
• Upon hire: National Certified MRI Technologist - American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists or
• Upon hire: National Certification from Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board or
• Upon hire: National Certification from American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography or
• Upon hire: National Certification from American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.
• Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association.
• Upon hire: California Diagnostic Radiologic Technology Certification or
• Upon hire: California Fluoroscopy Certificate/Permit or
• Upon hire: California Therapeutic Radiologic Technology Certification or
• Upon hire: California Diagnostic and Therapeutic Radiologic Technology Certification or
• Upon hire: National Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer.
• 2-5 years of experience in a healthcare environment with 4 years Management experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

• 2 years of experience managing Imaging Services clerical support.
