Job summary

Providence Mission Hospital Regional Medical Center in California seeks an experienced leader to oversee the Imaging Services department. Under the Director, Imaging Svcs, you will supervise technical and clerical staff and ensure safe, compliant patient care, workflow efficiency, and adherence to regulatory standards.

The role emphasizes quality, staff development, and collaboration with clinical teams. Minimum qualifications include multiple radiologic certifications and management experience;

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required; must obtain within 2 years of hire.
• Graduate of an AMA approved School of Radiologic Technology or Allied Health Profession.
• National Certified MRI Technologist (AR MRI) upon hire.
• National Certification from Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board upon hire.
• National Certification from ARDMS/ABR upon hire.
• ARRT Radiologic Technologist certification upon hire.
• BLS certification upon hire.
• California Diagnostic Radiologic Technology Certification upon hire.
• California Fluoroscopy Certificate/Permit upon hire.
• California Therapeutic Radiologic Technology Certification upon hire.
• California Diagnostic and Therapeutic Radiologic Technology Certification upon hire.
• National Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer upon hire.
• 2–5 years of experience in a healthcare environment with 4 years of Management experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Imaging Services department staff and operations.
• Ensure workflow supports safe and effective patient care.
• Ensure compliance with JCAHO and state requirements.
• Lead and develop team to meet service quality goals.

DescriptionUnder the general direction of the Director, Imaging Svcs oversees all technical and clerical staff in the Imaging Services department. Oversees technical procedures, Quality, JCAHO and State requirements. Ensures the workflow of safe and effective patient care. Is directly responsible for the management of all services related to assigned operations.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree for existing caregivers must obtain within 2 years of hire date.
• Coursework/Training: Graduate of an AMA approved School of Radiologic Technology or Allied Health Profession.
• Upon hire: National Certified MRI Technologist - American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists

The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
