Job summary

Providence Mission Hospital Regional Medical Center is seeking an Imaging Services leader to oversee clinical and clerical teams, ensuring safe, high-quality patient imaging care and regulatory compliance. Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required within 2 years of hire for existing caregivers.
  • Graduate of an AMA approved Radiologic Technology or Allied Health program.
  • National certifications listed must be obtained upon hire (MRI, Nuclear Medicine, Sonography, or Radiology).
  • Current BLS certification and California radiology licenses or certifications as applicable.
  • 2–5 years of healthcare experience with 4 years of management experience.

Job description

Under the general direction of the Director, Imaging Svcs oversees all technical and clerical staff in the Imaging Services department. Oversees technical procedures, Quality, JCAHO and State requirements. Ensures the workflow of safe and effective patient care. Is directly responsible for the management of all services related to assigned operations.

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree for existing caregivers must obtain within 2 years of hire date.
  • Coursework/Training: Graduate of an AMA approved School of Radiologic Technology or Allied Health Profession.
  • Upon hire: National Certified MRI Technologist - American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists or
  • Upon hire: National Certification from Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board or
  • Upon hire: National Certification from American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography or
  • Upon hire: National Certification from American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.
  • Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association.
  • Upon hire: California Diagnostic Radiologic Technology Certification or
  • Upon hire: California Fluoroscopy Certificate/Permit or
  • Upon hire: California Therapeutic Radiologic Technology Certification or
  • Upon hire: California Diagnostic and Therapeutic Radiologic Technology Certification or
  • Upon hire: National Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer.
  • 2-5 years of experience in a healthcare environment with 4 years Management experience.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 2 years of experience managing Imaging Services clerical support.
