The Diagnostic Imaging Manager is a working‑manager position responsible for supervising the provision of quality care provided by the diagnostic imaging staff and all aspects of day‑to‑day operations of the department in addition to the day‑to‑day responsibilities of one or more department modalities. Through collaboration with all members of the healthcare team, strives to create a positive patient centered culture; and a culture where the staff is encouraged to grow in knowledge and skills to further the quality care provided at WMRMC. Under the direction of the Executive Director, the Diagnostic Imaging Manager acts as a liaison between department staff and administration advocating for both patient and staff needs. The position exercises considerable judgment in applying professional knowledge in solving problems within established policies and practices, requires strong communication skills to interact with patients, and other health team members while maintaining all standards of care.
