Job summary

Vizient, Inc. is seeking a Delivery Leader to guide a team of Delivery Project Managers in achieving client outcomes and high-quality delivery.

You will coach managers, monitor performance, and drive continuous improvement across multiple engagements, ensuring governance and alignment with business priorities. The role emphasizes operational leadership, data-driven decisions, and collaboration with cross-functional teams, leveraging AI-enabled tools to optimize team effectiveness and contract

Team Performance & Project Leadership

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of Delivery Project Managers by setting clear expectations, reinforcing accountability, and building project management capability aligned to delivery standards, business priorities, and client outcomes.
• Use goals, metrics, delivery routines, and operational insights to monitor project execution, identify risks, address performance gaps, and support consistent, high‑quality delivery across assigned engagements.
• Equip Project Managers to communicate priorities, manage stakeholder expectations, navigate change, support employee transition, and apply timely, fair, and specific feedback to strengthen performance and development.

Delivery Excellence

• Coach Project Managers on project planning, timeline management, risk and issue escalation, dependency tracking, stakeholder updates, and quality project documentation.
• Monitor portfolio health through performance metrics, delivery reviews, and operational reporting to identify trends, mitigate risks, and improve execution.
• Partner with Lead Project Managers, Account Management, and Delivery leaders to ensure successful delivery of client commitments across multiple engagements.
• Champion continuous improvement initiatives that strengthen delivery processes, operational consistency, and project management capabilities.

Client & Business Partnership

Build collaborative relationships with internal leaders and client stakeholders to align priorities, resolve challenges, and support successful delivery outcomes. Facilitate governance reviews and communicates project status, risks, dependencies, and performance insights to leadership. Identify opportunities to improve contract utilization, operational efficiency, and client value realization.

Operational Leadership

Implement governance processes, project standards, reporting, and performance measures established by Delivery leadership.Use business insights, operational metrics, and AI‑enabled tools to improve team productivity, delivery quality, and decision‑making.Integrate AI‑enabled tools into team operations, identify efficiency opportunities, and ensure AI‑generated outputs are reviewed for accuracy, relevance, quality, and business alignment.Support strategic initiatives that enhance project management capabilities, organizational effectiveness, and delivery excellence.
