Job summary

Vizient is seeking an experienced project leader to drive complex, cross-functional initiatives across multiple products, clients, and source systems. You will partner with stakeholders to execute plans and deliver measurable business outcomes.

This role emphasizes data‑driven decision making, governance, and clear communication with senior leadership. You will mentor teams and push for continuous process improvements to enhance delivery and organizational capability.

Qualifications

• Relevant degree preferred.
• 5 or more years of relevant experience required.
• Experience managing complex cross-functional projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with project management tools such as Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, Monday.com, or Wrike; Smartsheet experience preferred.
• Experience with Mavenlink preferred.
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel); Microsoft Project and Visio experience preferred.
• Proficient in project management principles, methodologies, techniques, and tools.
• Ability to analyze data and leverage insights to support project decisions and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, and organizational skills with the ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Lead cross-functional projects from initiation to completion, managing scope, timelines, resources, and deliverables.
• Develop and maintain PM processes, tools and documentation for execution.
• Develop metrics, reporting, and performance measures to drive decisions.
• Communicate expectations, progress, risks, and recommendations to teams and leadership.
• Analyze project data and KPIs to identify trends and provide strategic recommendations.
• Prepare and deliver presentations to senior leadership on status, risks, and outcomes.
• Mentor team members and promote collaboration and continuous improvement.
• Identify risks, dependencies and issues, and implement mitigation strategies.
• Facilitate retrospectives and implement process improvements.

Estimated Hiring Range

At Vizient, we consider skills, experience, and organizational needs in our compensation approach. Geographic factors may adjust the range estimate and hires typically fall below the top range. Compensation decisions are tailored to individual circumstances. The current salary range for this role is $88,900.00 to $155,500.00.

This position is also incentive eligible.
