Job summary

Advance Auto Parts Inc. is seeking an DC Operations Manager to ensure continuous talent flow and development, leading a 150+ person department and partnering with senior leadership to improve efficiency and reduce costs.

The role requires 5–10 years in warehouse leadership, experience with material handling and inventory, and an associate degree or equivalent. A bi-lingual preference is noted and a bonus program applies with phone allowance.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of leadership experience in a warehouse or distribution center.
• Experience with material handling, inventory tracking, and directing teams.
• Associate degree or equivalent experience is required or preferred.

Responsibilities

• Regularly meet with General Manager to review methods, staffing, and controls for timely product movement.
• Direct responsibility for a DC department (Inbound/Outbound) with 150+ team members, including budgeting and staffing.
• Partner with GM/AGM to drive continuous improvement and reduce costs across the facility.
• Coach and develop management through on-floor coaching and written evaluations.
• Conduct start-up meetings with Department Managers to discuss daily results, workloads, and safety issues.
• Monitor safety procedures and ensure PPE compliance across the facility.

Job DescriptionThe DC Operations Manager is responsible for ensuring a continuous stream of talent to sustain organizational growth and improve operations by attracting, retaining, and developing team members and meet their needs for career growth.
