Safety National in St. Louis seeks a Manager, Data Platform to lead a team responsible for designing and enhancing enterprise data platforms. You will collaborate with various teams to ensure the platform is scalable, secure, and reliable.
The ideal candidate should have over 5 years of experience in data engineering, especially with modern cloud platforms like AWS or Azure. The role allows for a hybrid work schedule, with 3 days per week in the office.
As the Manager, Data Platform, you will lead a talented team responsible for designing, building, enhancing, and administering enterprise data platforms that power analytics, reporting, and business operations across the organization. You will help shape the strategic direction of our data platform ecosystem while ensuring it remains scalable, secure, reliable, and easy to use. In this role, you will partner closely with Data Engineering, Analytics, Infrastructure, Architecture, and Operations teams to deliver modern cloud-based platform capabilities that enable innovation and drive business value. You\'ll champion engineering best practices, automation, continuous improvement, and platform governance while mentoring your team and fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and technical excellence.
