Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Information Management, Computer Science, or Information Technology.
• 60 months of experience in enterprise data architecture, data engineering, or BI development.
• At least 2 years in a leadership or managerial role.
• 3 years in cloud-native data platforms (Snowflake, Redshift, Databricks) and modern data stack tools (Informatica, dbt, Airflow).
• Experience with Salesforce, Gainsight, and ServiceNow in enterprise systems.
• Ability to translate technical architecture into business value.
• Experience with data governance, security, and compliance.

Duties are to lead and manage a team of data architects responsible for designing and implementing enterprise data solutions across platforms like Snowflake, Informatica, and dbt.Define and evolve Ellucian’s enterprise data architecture strategy, standards, and governance frameworks to support analytics, reporting, and AI/ML initiatives. Oversee the development of scalable data models, pipelines, and integration patterns that support structured and semi-structured data sources. Partner cross-functionally with business, product, and technology teams to align data architecture with strategic goals and enable self-service analytics and predictive insights. Ensure data platform scalability, performance, and compliance with data governance, lineage, and security standards. Provide architectural leadership for data visualization and embedded analytics solutions using Tableau, Power BI, and other tools.Stay current on emerging trends in cloud data architecture, data mesh, generative AI, and modern data governance technologies.
