Job Description

We are seeking an experienced data analytics professional who understands the strategy and tools necessary to enable Abercrombie & Fitch to better unify & enrich customer data for insights & activation. The ideal candidate is a customer-obsessed, outcome-oriented leader who can inspire cross-functional teams to develop and deploy data and analytics solutions that deliver value and efficiency for the business.

In this role, you will oversee requirements gathering, sourcing, data strategy, and implementation of key Data & Analytics platforms to ensure they meet our roadmap and value targets. Platforms include Customer Data platforms & Identity Resolution Solutions, customer data lakes, and diagnostic tools. This role is heavily cross-functional, partnering with our Global Technology, Data & Analytics teams, and other business functions to translate business requirements into data & platform solutions.

Your responsibilities include supporting global markets, with local marketing and analytics teams as your key customers. Being a subject matter expert on Abercrombie & Fitch’s data, technology, and analytics stack is critical for providing support and education to marketing teams.

This role reports directly to the Director, Customer Data Strategy.

What Will You Be Doing?
  • Own and drive the vision and strategy of customer data and analytics platforms (CRM, Loyalty, Customer 360) to support the Customer Data vision and roadmap.
  • Consult on major projects leveraging internal customer data, including enterprise data lake, marketing & digital platforms, and internal analytics solutions.
  • Ensure requirements and setup align with the broader vision for connecting with customers across channels.
  • Lead engagement with markets for education and support of data and analytics tools.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders within Data Analytics, Marketing, and Technology.
  • Support customer data privacy strategies, translating legal requirements into data and tech requirements.
  • Manage backlog prioritization and refinement for customer data and analytics platforms, including CRM.
What Do You Need To Bring?
  • Deep experience with customer data and analytics products such as CDPs, CRMs, DataLakes (Snowflake preferred).
  • Strong experience with relational databases and many-to-many ID structures.
  • Proficiency in SQL, SnowSQL, or Python.
  • Knowledge of CRM/identity resolution, customer segmentation, and propensity modeling.
  • Ability to work confidently in a fast-paced environment, making quick decisions.
  • Curiosity and adaptability in applying patterns/trends in new situations.
  • Strong collaboration skills and cross-functional experience.
  • Self-starter mindset with problem-solving skills.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • 10+ years in customer analytics, ideally in retail.
  • 5+ years working with CDPs, Tealium experience a plus.
  • Proficiency in SQL or Python; SnowSQL preferred.
