Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking an experienced Senior Instructional Designer to lead courseware standards and production guidelines in Orlando. You will drive templates, workflows, and QA processes to ensure high-quality learning experiences across teams.

Responsibilities include defining learning objectives, assessments, and content structure, exploring emerging tools, and partnering with the courseware pod to embed innovation into daily workflows. Travel up to 25% may be required.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s in Instructional Design, Learning Sciences, Educational Technology, or HCI; ID certifications beneficial.
  • 8-12 years in L&D/courseware; 3-5 leading standards/templates/workflows.
  • Template architecture (storyboards, scripts, media specs).
  • Workflow design & process mapping (from intake to deployment).
  • Quality systems (checklists, peer reviews, QA sign-off).
  • Instructional design standards (objectives, assessments, sequencing).
  • Innovation scouting (tools, methodologies, pilots, A/B tests).
  • Strong proficiency in English is required for this role.
  • Ability to travel up to 25% as needed.
