The Manager, Corporate Strategy will play a crucial role in shaping the strategic direction of the company. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, strategic thinking, and a proven track record in strategic planning or management consulting. Reporting into Ad Populum’s Chief Financial Officer, this position involves analyzing market trends, assessing business opportunities, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive growth and improve competitive positioning. You will manage mission-critical projects ranging from developing growth strategies to implementing organizational restructurings and operational efficiencies. Projects are typically team-based and include close collaboration with senior executives. You will own a portfolio of company-wide strategic initiatives, develop trusted partnerships with senior leaders, and collaborate closely with a diverse set of internal and external partners. Success requires a commercial mind-set, the ability to understand and leverage data assets, and develop actionable business plans and go-to-market strategies for senior business leaders to focus on the most optimal and actionable growth opportunities. You will assess growth opportunities strategies for Ad Populum brands, evaluate strategic partnerships and investments, as well as design operating models. You will help connect the dots across brands and initiatives in our businesses, ensuring that we bring the best solutions to Ad Populum and our customers and clients.

This position is fully remote, and the successful candidate may be located anywhere in the United States.

Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Planning. Manage initiatives/projects to resolve diverse problems identified by senior leaders. Develop and refine the company’s long-term strategic plan in alignment with business objectives.
  • Market Analysis. Gather, synthesize, analyze and present project data and findings (e.g., financial modeling, valuation.) Monitor industry trends and share insightful reports and analyses with broader team and with senior executives. Translate insight into competitive intelligence to inform strategic decisions. Identify and evaluate potential growth opportunities, including mergers, acquisitions, and partnerships. Stay informed about industry trends and emerging technologies. Perform competitor/industry research.
  • Project Management. Apply structured problem-solving and design thinking to address top strategic priorities. Lead strategic initiatives and projects, ensuring they are executed effectively and on schedule. Collaborate with various departments to align strategies and resources.
  • Stakeholder Engagement. Present strategic recommendations to senior management and other key stakeholders. Execute creative analyses and provide insight to identify issues and arrive at recommendations.
  • Performance Monitoring. Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of strategic initiatives. Regularly assess and report on the progress of strategic goals.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree required; MBA preferred.
  • Minimum of three (3) years of experience with diverse problem-solving experience in corporate strategy from either a management consulting firm, an investment banking (M&A, Coverage, Capital Markets, Equity Research) division, or within another internal strategy group.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with proficiency in data analysis tools.
  • Excellent communication (oral and written) and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts clearly.
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
  • An ability to analyze problems and apply quantitative analytical approaches.
  • Interpersonal leadership and influencing skills.
  • Efficient skills using Office Suite and PowerPoint tools.

The salary for this remote position will be $150,000.00 per year.
