Manager, Contracts
Location: US-CO-AURORA-S75 ~ 16800 E Centretech Pkwy ~ BLDG S75 (Onsite)
Role: Manager, Contracts – contingent upon contract award of submitted pursuits.
What You Will Do
- Work closely with Portfolio Directors, Program Managers, Chief Engineers, Business/Estimating, and Supply Chain to manage successful execution of contracts
- Provide guidance regarding contractual and business issues, advising management of contractual rights and obligations as well as mitigation of contractual/program risks
- Key contributor during pre-proposal strategy, proposal development, negotiation, and execution phases of programs, including preparation of bids and contract management compliance
- Analyze Requests for Proposals (RFP), Requests for Information (RFI) and Broad Agency Announcements (BAA)
- Work closely within cross-functional teams to construct, submit, and negotiate terms and conditions and pricing proposals
- Negotiate and execute contracts
- Support program management and execution reviews
- Work independently in a fast-paced, multitask environment
- Develop effective partnerships with customers and internal teams
Qualifications You Must Have
- University degree or equivalent with minimum 8 years of relevant experience, OR advanced degree with minimum 5 years experience
- Minimum 5 years experience specifically with contracts
- Experience with US Government contracts under the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and/or Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations Supplement (DFARS)
Qualifications We Prefer
- Experience with Firm Fixed Price (FFP), Fixed Price Incentive Fee (FPIF), Cost-Plus Fixed Fee (CPFF) and Cost-Plus Award Fee (CPAF) contract types
- Demonstrated ability to develop effective relationships with customers and internal partners based on understanding, teamwork, and trust
- Professional written and verbal communication skills to interface with all levels of internal and external customers; thorough analytical skills; excellent interpersonal skills; adaptability to various business situations
- Experience working in an environment that requires multi-tasking across multiple programs; record of responsiveness with excellent time management and organization skills
What We Offer
Salary range: 107,500 – 204,500 USD. Sign‑on bonus available.
