Summary

Contracts Administrator Manager will oversee contract administrators' contract management activities to ensure efficient and compliant business operations. In this pivotal role, they will mentor a team of contract administrators, facilitate contract negotiations, and collaborate with various departments to streamline processes and support our organizational goals.

Position Duties

Essential functions of the position include, but are not limited to:

• Oversee and manage the contracts administration team ensuring efficient and effective contract management processes.
• Develop and implement standard operating procedures for contract administration activities.
• Lead initiatives to improve contract management processes and systems to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
• Train and mentor team members in contract administration best practices and processes.
• Monitor contract performance and compliance, addressing any discrepancies or non-compliance issues.
• Responsible for Customer Order Review (COR) metric, measuring average day to enter a new order
• Develop and maintain a centralized repository for all contract documentation and correspondence.
• Provide guidance and support to team members on contract interpretations.
• Coordinate with legal, finance, and other departments to resolve contract-related challenges.
• Ensure proper documentation and record-keeping for all contracts in accordance with company policy and regulatory requirements.
• Manage contract pricing renewals.
• Prepare and present reports on contract status, performance metrics, and departmental activities to senior management.
• As necessary, manage a few strategic customer accounts directly, including but not limited to quoting, order entry, and backlog follow-up.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Contract Management, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in contract management within the aerospace and defense industry.
• Proven experience in managing complex contracts and negotiations.
• Strong knowledge of government contracting regulations and compliance, including FAR and DFARS.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in contract management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Willingness to travel as required.

Physical Demands

• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to, stand, sit; talk, hear, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer and telephone keyboard reach, stoop kneel to install computer equipment

• Light to moderate lifting is required (maximum of 30lbs)

Compensation Range

$110,000 to $140,000 per year and DOE
