As a Manager, Content Strategy and Social Media, you will lead the development and implementation of a content strategy to foster pride and awareness of MCW's pillars, priorities, and people. This role involves guiding a team to position MCW as Wisconsin's leader in health and science, highlighting the contributions of its researchers to advance health. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment, understands the complexities of an academic medical system, and can manage multiple requests and partnerships effectively.
This role contributes to enhancing MCW's reputation and visibility nationally, making science accessible to the community. It requires ongoing effort and persistence to succeed.
Hybrid - Flexible
Bachelor's Degree and 8+ years in Journalism, Public Relations, or Communications. Appropriate experience may substitute for education.
Master's Degree in Journalism, Public Relations, Digital Strategy, or Communications. 8+ years of experience with at least 3 years in healthcare or academic PR and social media is preferred.
