The Manager, Content Strategy, is a core member of the Content Strategy team within the BMCHS Communications organization of the Marketing and Communications department. Reporting to the Director, Content Strategy, the Manager, Content Strategy, will play an integral role in supporting the development of high-quality, strategically aligned content that advances BMCHS’s reputation, thought leadership, and organizational messaging. Working in close partnership with the Director, Content Strategy and broader Communications leadership, the Manager develops compelling editorial content, thought leadership, and storytelling that elevates BMCHS's clinical excellence, innovation, research, and commitment to health equity. The role collaborates with Marketing and Communications colleagues, executive leaders, clinicians, researchers, program leaders, and internal and external stakeholders to translate complex initiatives into clear, engaging, audience-focused communications. The ideal candidate will have 5 to 7 years of professional editorial experience in communications, journalism, content strategy, public relations, healthcare communications, digital media, or a related field. Strong writing, interviewing, editing, and project management skills are essential, along with the ability to synthesize complex clinical, scientific, and operational information into compelling narratives. This role is ideal for a proactive communicator who is comfortable supporting high-profile strategic initiatives, identifies storytelling opportunities, exercises strong editorial judgment, has executive presence, and independently drives projects that strengthen BMCHS's reputation and thought leadership. The successful candidate will be highly organized, collaborative, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment while exercising strong editorial judgment. Compensation Range: $78,000.00- $113,000.00 This range offers an estimate based on the minimum job qualifications. However, our approach to determining base pay is comprehensive, and a broad range of factors is considered when making an offer. This includes education, experience, skills, and certifications/licensures as they directly relate to position requirements; as well as business/organizational needs, internal equity, and market-competitiveness.
NOTE: This range is based on Boston-area data, and is subject to modification based on geographic location.
