Job summary

Louisiana Delta Community College seeks a Manager of Workforce Construction Programs to lead construction and fiber optics training initiatives. Will supervise instructors, manage certificates, and coordinate curriculum and facilities to ensure program success.

Qualifications include an Associate’s degree (Bachelor’s preferred), 5+ years in the field, and strong leadership and communication skills. The role supports accreditation and industry alignment, with travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Technology or related field.
• At least five years of field experience.
• Strong leadership, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience with curriculum development and certification programs.

Responsibilities

• Supervise instructional staff and adjuncts for construction, fiber optics, broadband programs.
• Monitor and schedule certification renewals and retraining sessions.
• Coordinate scheduling, delivery and evaluation of workforce training programs.
• Develop and update curriculum for construction, NCCER, fiber optics, OSHA and related programs.
• Maintain labs, equipment, and inventory.
• Represent the college at industry meetings and events.
