The Manager, Community Engagement supports the Director of Community Engagement in advancing Nine PBS’s mission through strategic partnership development, community engagement, project coordination, and cross-department collaboration. This role helps cultivate and steward relationships with community organizations, leaders, and stakeholders; supports the planning and execution of community events and engagement opportunities; and contributes to the successful implementation of Impact team initiatives.
The ideal candidate is a proactive relationship-builder with strong organizational, communication, and project management skills. They are comfortable managing multiple priorities, coordinating across teams, analyzing community feedback and engagement data, and representing Nine PBS in community settings. This individual demonstrates professionalism, adaptability, sound judgment, and a commitment to community engagement.
Success in this role requires a growth mindset, a collaborative and solutions-focused approach, and a commitment to continuous learning and improvement. The Manager embraces feedback, builds strong partnerships, effectively supports the Director of Community Engagement, and helps ensure Nine PBS remains a trusted and responsive community partner.
This position is eligible for a hybrid schedule, typically working 1-2 days virtually each week, with supervisor approval. Must work on-site on Tuesdays, as well as attend all team meetings, one-on-one meetings, and all-staff meetings.
