Job summary

Cardinal Health is seeking an Infrastructure Governance leader to drive security governance across multi-cloud environments and ensure regulatory compliance.

You will lead a skilled team, expand policy enforcement, and champion automation to accelerate remediation of cloud risks. This role partners with Enterprise Tech and InfoSec to uphold SOX/HIPAA/HITRUST compliance and oversee CSPM programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in related field required.
• 4–6 years of progressive experience in security governance, cloud security engineering, or equivalent risk role.
• Experience leading and mentoring engineering teams.
• Strong multi-cloud knowledge: GCP, Azure, AWS.
• Familiar with security frameworks (NIST CSF) and regulatory requirements (HIPAA, HITRUST, SOX, GDPR).

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of Cloud Engineers, fostering growth.
• Expand governance scope to include security policy enforcement, vulnerability, data, and application security management.
• Champion Automation & AI for real-time compliance and auto-remediation of cloud risks.
• Govern firewall rule policies and certify firewall rules across in-scope devices.
• Oversee CSPM and cloud-native security solutions for GCP/Azure/AWS with continuous alerting and audit reporting.
• Coordinate remediation campaigns via ServiceNow and GRC platforms and verify resolutions.
• Manage SOX server quarterly certifications and address findings with urgency.
• Address non-compliance, deprecated protocols, least privilege, and policy drift.
• Maintain accountability for exceptions and their timely remediation, renewal, or closure.
• Support quarterly ROC and regulatory audits including FDA/HITRUST certifications.
• Lead M&A security onboarding to integrate acquired entities onto Governance platforms.
