Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking an experienced imaging professional to analyze 3D CT reconstruction for case planning and implantation planning, and to provide comprehensive imaging reports for clinical decision making.

The role requires eight years of in-hospital echocardiography experience, RDCS/RCS certification, travel up to 15%, and fluency with TomTec, 3Mensio, Xcelera, Vitrea, Circle VI, and CRM systems; you will mentor field teams and drive imaging process improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's/Associate degree or equivalent per Edwards criteria.
• Minimum eight years in-hospital echocardiography or cardiac sonography.
• Certification in RDCS or RCS is required.
• Able to travel up to 15% (US based).
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Experience with imaging analysis software such as TomTec, 3Mensio, Xcelera, Vitrea, Circle VI.
• Strong knowledge of cardiovascular imaging principles.
• Ability to guide imaging specialists in clinical settings.

Job description

• Analyze 3D Computed Tomography reconstruction for cases for BU case planning to determine measurement suitability for anatomy for BU implantation
• Provide comprehensive imaging reports for case planning purposes
• Perform CT reconstructions beyond the scope or experience of the field team to optimize patient outcomes
• Track the case planning process through multiple technical platforms in partnership with analysts, field teams, sales operations, information technology, and external stakeholders
• Train field teams and/or health care providers on CT and other imaging modality acquisition and interpretation
• Provide guidance on case planning strategy execution
• Enter case planning measurement data into CRM software
• Identify gaps and recommend CT acquisition process improvements
• Design and develop image-analysis training content for field support teams and health care professionals
• Assist with quality assurance processes and other process improvements
• Participate in knowledge transfer sessions with field teams to review challenging cases and identify process-improvement opportunities

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Associates degree in related field or equivalent work experience based on Edwards criteria required
• Minimum eight (8) years previous in-hospital clinical echocardiographic or cardiac sonography experience
• Certification in relevant imaging modality training (RDCS, RCS)
• Able to travel up to 15% (US based travel)
• Proficient skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Experience with imaging analysis software (e.g. TomTec, 3Mensio, Xcelera, Vitrea, Circle VI, etc.)
• Substantial knowledge of relevant imaging equipment operation (e.g. 2D or 3D TTE/TEE/ICE, CT, MRI, etc.)
• Moderate to advanced knowledge and understanding of principles, theories, and concepts relevant to cardiovascular imaging
• Able to effectively guide and instruct other imaging specialists in clinical settings on effective imaging equipment operation
• Requires strong diplomacy, influencing and relationship management skills
• Demonstrated problem-solving and critical thinking skills
• Strict attention to detail
• Must be able to work in a team environment, fostering collaboration between inter-departmental teams, HCPs and KOLs
