About the Opportunity:
Weber Shandwick is seeking a curious, purpose-driven, media-savvy Manager to join our Social Impact and Sustainability team in Washington, D.C. This role is designed for a communications strategist who thrives at the intersection of purpose, sustainability, business, policy, media and culture. You’ll be responsible for helping to develop and drive execution of communications strategies for a diverse portfolio of corporate, public sector and nonprofit clients seeking to make a tangible impact in a complex and rapidly evolving landscape.
The ideal candidate is an emerging professional with a passion for driving change and understanding of how to build and protect reputation. You bring experience delivering effective, integrated campaigns and thriving on high-performing teams in a fast-paced environment. This position will be based in our Washington, D.C. office on a hybrid schedule.
You’re a strategic thinker and relationship-builder. Fluent in internet culture, you’re a voracious consumer of news, compulsively following the conversations shaping and social impact and sustainability.
You bring experience in earned media, including positioning clients for media opportunities and capturing their voice in compelling content. You understand how to leverage legacy and emerging media platforms to earn attention for clients.

Omnicom’s policy requires employees to work in the office for a minimum of three days a week, unless additional in-office days are directed by their agency or manager. Our objective is to increase this requirement over time, and many of our agencies as well as Omnicom’s corporate group already require five days of in-office attendance.
