Job summary

Baker Tilly is seeking a Manager in CFO Advisory focused on financial planning & analysis, financial modeling, and strategic finance. You will lead development of models, work with CFOs, management teams, and investors to support forecasting, capital allocation, and performance improvements.

The role requires strong technical capability and the ability to clearly communicate complex financial information to clients. Management of engagements and mentorship of staff are key parts of the position.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics or related field.
• 5+ years of relevant experience in financial advisory, investment banking, transaction services, or corporate FP&A.
• Advanced proficiency in financial modeling and building from first principles.
• Strong understanding of financial statements and accounting concepts.
• Experience supporting transactions, capital structure analysis, or investment evaluation is preferred.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel for complex models.
• Experience with PowerPoint for client-ready presentations.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Professional certifications (CPA, CFA, CMA, MBA) are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex financial modeling engagements, including integrated 3-statement and cash flow models.
• Translate client objectives into structured analytical approaches with defined drivers.
• Evaluate initiatives and financial alternatives including capital raises and acquisitions.
• Support transaction engagements with pro forma models and deal-structure analysis.
• Develop scenario and sensitivity analyses to assess risks and value drivers.
• Design and implement forecasting processes, budgets and management reporting.
• Review and refine models and client deliverables for accuracy and usability.
• Manage day-to-day engagement execution and timelines.
• Communicate findings to client stakeholders in meetings with senior management.
• Mentor and develop junior team members, guiding on modeling and analysis.
