Job summary

Baker Tilly Advisory Group, LP is seeking a Manager to join the CFO Accounting Advisory practice within the Financial Accounting Advisory team. You will help CFOs, Controllers and Finance Directors improve financial reporting and add value through analysis and process improvement.

The role involves leading engagements, mentoring staff, and interfacing with senior management. Travel about 25% and a hybrid work setup are expected as part of this high-performing team.

Qualifications

• 6+ years' experience in a large accounting firm in audit or financial advisory service line
• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or related field
• CPA or CMA designation
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting
• Experience with Power BI or Tableau preferred
• Exposure to mid-market financial software like QuickBooks, NetSuite or Intacct
• Excellent communication, multitasking and project leadership abilities
• Ability to travel ~25% and work in a hybrid environment

Responsibilities

• Participate in projects across GAAP Advisory, Business Analytics, Financial Accounting Advisory, Transaction Support, and Program/Project Management
• Supervise, develop and train staff on engagements
• Collaborate with senior managers and partners on client engagements
• Strengthen client relationships and identify new business opportunities
• Communicate with executives, investors and lenders to ensure high-quality service
• Contribute to recruiting and campus outreach activities
• Demonstrate teamwork, strong ethics and adaptability
