Management & Training Corporation (MTC) operates the San Diego Job Corps Center in Imperial Beach, CA, and seeks a capable manager to oversee program and information controls in line with government directives. • Bachelor’s Degree including 15 semester hours in social services-related instruction and two-year experience in counseling or related field required.
• Supervisory experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.

Responsabilidades

• Manage programs and management information in compliance with government and management directives.
• Assist the director of career training with departmental budget preparation, monitoring and expenditures.
• Review and audit assigned areas for contractual compliance and effectiveness of service delivery to students; prepare related reports.
• Coordinate communication between counseling services, career preparation programs, center staff and external community services to facilitate student progress.
• Coordinate efforts to promote student retention and graduation and participate in committees to improve center outcomes.
• Coordinate delivery of mental health services with health services administrator and center mental health consultant.

Pay: $70,304 annually

Schedule – Full Time, 8hr shifts, Monday – Friday

What you will be doing: You’ll be responsible for the management of programs and management information in compliance with government and management directives.

1. Assist the director of career training in the preparation of the departmental budget, monitor and control expenditures.

2. Review and audit all assigned areas regularly for contractual compliance and effectiveness of delivery of services to students. Prepare related reports.

3. Implement and maintain the collaborative system of communication between counseling services and career preparation programs, center staff, and outside community services to facilitate student progress.

4. Coordinate efforts to promote student retention and graduation and participate in committees to improve center outcomes.

5. Coordinate the delivery of mental health services with the health services administrator and the center mental health consultant.
