Job description

The Central Flow (CF) Team is seeking a Manager to lead an operations-focused Business Intelligence team supporting centralized operations within CF. Central Flow includes several verticals supporting NACF Fulfillment, such as OB Sortable, Non-Sortable, IXD, Dock, Floor Health, and more. The BI Team aims to shape network execution through innovative labor and flow planning mechanisms, enhancing the Amazon Fulfillment network to deliver a reliable, cost-efficient, and world-class customer experience.

In this role, you will lead Business Intelligence engineers and analysts in leveraging analytics and visualization techniques for data-driven storytelling. You will collaborate with teams across CF to meet business needs through automation, standardization, and reporting. Additionally, you will coach, develop, and mentor your team to achieve high performance and personal growth.

Key responsibilities include:

• Inspiring and managing a talented BI team to achieve goals and development potential
• Defining and managing a long-term vision and initiatives to improve customer experience and business results through metrics, analysis, visualizations, and storytelling
• Driving the BI roadmap; prioritizing insight requests to balance tactical and strategic needs
• Collaborating with stakeholders to understand and respond to information needs
• Leading the definition and governance of key metrics, building self-service analytics, and engineering data-driven processes

Minimum qualifications:

• 5+ years of business intelligence and analytics experience
• 5+ years managing a BI or analytics team, including employee development and performance management
• Experience with SQL, ETL, and data visualization tools like Tableau or Quicksight
• Experience with statistical or machine learning software such as R, Python, SAS, etc.
• Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Engineering, or related fields

Preferred qualifications:

• 4+ years working with large data warehousing environments
• 10+ years in data warehouse architecture, data modeling, ETL/ELT, and reporting tools
• 7+ years of BI and analytics experience
