Job summary

Citrin Cooperman is seeking a Business Advisory Solutions Manager for the Tax Department in the United States. The role focuses on reviewing tax closings, books-closed processes, and tax preparations, while fielding client questions on various tax matters.

The position requires a CPA or active CPA progress, 7–8 years in public accounting, and strong leadership, communication, and project-management skills. Proficiency with MS Office and CCH product suites is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting is required.
• CPA or CPA in progress.
• 7–8 years of public accounting experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Strong leadership and teamwork skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Knowledge of CCH Axcess, CCH Workflow, Caseware, CCH Document is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Detailed reviewer of Tax Closings, Closing of Books, and tax preparation.
• Field client questions and inquiries on all compliance matters.
• Intermediate tax and accounting research as needed for accurate reporting.
• Develop budgets and pricing, staff assignment, and reports.
• Provide direction and supervise staff and manage day-to-day duties.
• Contribute to strong client relationships through positive interactions.
• Provide training, direction, and supervision to staff and senior accountants.
• Assess performance and provide appropriate feedback.
