Citrin Cooperman is seeking a Business Advisory Solutions Manager to join our Tax Department. As a BAS Manager, you will be responsible for detailed review of tax closings, closing of books, and tax preparation, and you will field client questions on compliance matters.

You will oversee staff, develop budgets and pricing, assign workloads, provide direction, training, and feedback, and contribute to strong client relationships while coordinating day-to-day duties of planning, review, and wrap-up.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting is required.
• CPA or in progress is preferred.
• 7–8 years of public accounting experience required.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Demonstrated teamwork and leadership abilities.
• Ability to work independently and with others.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and project management skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; knowledge of CCH Axcess, CCH Workflow, Caseware, and CCH Document is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Detailed Reviewer of Tax Closings, Closing of Books, and tax preparation.
• Field client questions and inquiries on all compliance matters such as income tax, franchise tax, sales/use tax, labor, benefits, etc.
• Intermediate tax and accounting research necessary to ensure accurate accounting and tax reporting.
• Developing budgets and pricing, select staff and assign workloads, and prepare reports
• Provide a sense of direction and purpose for staff members, while earning the trust of coworkers and client management
• Oversee, Supervise, and Manage Staff coordinating the day-to-day duties of planning, preparation, review, and wrap‑up
• Contribute to a strong client relationship through positive interactions with client personnel
• Provide training, direction, and supervision to staff and senior accountants
• Assess performance of staff and provide appropriate feedback
