Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Analytics, Information Systems, Operations or equivalent.
  • Min. 10 years of financial institution operational leadership experience.
  • Min. 5 years of management or supervisory experience.
  • Experience leading operational excellence, process improvement, and organizational change initiatives.
  • Experience utilizing reporting, analytics, and performance metrics to drive business results.

Job description

Candidates must live within a reasonable commuting distance of the communities served by Travis Credit Union, which include the following counties: Alameda, Colusa, Contra Costa, Merced, Napa, Placer, Sacramento, San Joaquin, Solano, Sonoma, Stanislaus, and Yolo. For hybrid and remote roles, candidates are still required to reside within a commutable distance of our corporate headquarters in Vacaville, California.

Schedule: Monday-Friday, Exempt/Hybrid.

Summary

Travis Credit Union's (TCU) Branch Support Management is responsible for optimizing branch operational effectiveness, technology utilization, process efficiency, compliance, and member experience across the retail network. This role leverages data analytics, operational intelligence, technology solutions, and continuous improvement methodologies to identify opportunities, remove operational friction, improve service delivery, and drive strategic performance outcomes.

The position serves as the primary liaison between Branch Operations, Technology, Facilities, Training, Risk Management, and other business units to ensure branches have the tools, processes, insights, and support necessary to achieve organizational objectives. This leader is accountable for translating operational data into actionable business decisions, advancing branch technology adoption, implementing process improvements, managing operational initiatives, and supporting branch modernization efforts that improve employee productivity and member experiences.

  • Leads Branch Operations strategy, performance, and support functions across the branch network to ensure operational excellence, service consistency, and achievement of business objectives.
  • Develops data analytics program, business intelligence, and performance metrics to identify trends, optimize branch performance, and support executive decision-making.
  • Drives branch technology strategy, adoption, and innovation initiatives that enhance employee productivity, member experience, and operational efficiency.
  • Leads continuous improvement efforts by streamlining processes, reducing operational risk, and implementing scalable solutions that improve service delivery and effectiveness.
  • Manages operational projects, organizational initiatives, and change management activities to support strategic priorities and branch modernization.
  • Oversees vendor and third-party relationships, ensuring service excellence, accountability, compliance, and alignment with organizational objectives.
  • Drives and provides oversight of branch infrastructure, facilities, and technology deployment activities to ensure operational readiness, business continuity, and successful implementation of network enhancements.
  • Leads operational governance efforts by establishing standards, policies, procedures, and controls that promote regulatory compliance, mitigate risk, and drive consistent operational performance across the branch network.
  • Drives and partners with business leaders, support departments, and training teams to drive communication, capability development, and execution of operational initiatives.
  • Manages operational budgets, resource allocation, and financial performance while identifying opportunities for efficiency improvements, cost optimization, and strategic investment.

  • Reports directly to the AVP, Branch Operations.
  • Direct supervisory responsibility for assigned department leadership.
  • Overall management responsibility for all department staff.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Analytics, Information Systems, Operations or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum 10 years of financial institution operational leadership experience.
  • Minimum 5 years of management or supervisory experience.
  • Demonstrated experience leading operational excellence, process improvement, and organization change initiatives.
  • Experience utilizing reporting, analytics, and performance metrics to drive business results.
  • Strong knowledge of branch operations, retail banking systems, and operational technologies.
  • Experience managing operational budgets, vendor relationships, and resource planning.
  • Strong understanding of operational risk management, governance practices, internal controls, and regulatory compliance.
Compensation
  • Manager, Branch Support:Grade 19 - Exempt $116,646.40 - $144,102.40.
