Job summary

LRS, headquartered in the United States, seeks a seasoned fleet/heavy-equipment maintenance leader in Indiana to oversee maintenance operations across multiple sites. You will drive safety standards, budget adherence, and equipment reliability while coordinating with operations and leadership in a multi-site environment.

  • Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record and ability to travel regularly between sites.

Education & Experience
  • 5+ years of progressive fleet or heavy-equipment maintenance experience, including 2+ years leading maintenance teams (multi-site experience strongly preferred).
  • Strong working knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulics, electrical/electronic systems, and heavy-duty vehicle repair.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of DOT/FMCSA regulations and OSHA workplace-safety requirements.
  • Proven ability to manage budgets and control maintenance costs.
  • Proficiency with fleet/maintenance management software and standard business applications.
  • Valid driver\'s license with an acceptable driving record and the ability to travel regularly between sites across the assigned area.
  • High school diploma or GED required.
Physical Demands & Work Environment
  • Regularly stand, walk, bend, stoop, climb, and move throughout shop and yard environments.
  • Occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds using proper equipment and technique.
  • Work in varying conditions including heat, cold, noise, dust, and exposure to fumes typical of a repair environment, and wear required PPE.
  • Travel frequently by vehicle between assigned sites and respond to off-hours or emergency situations as needed.

  • Area travel to sites as needed; about 20%
