Children’s Wisconsin seeks an Ambulatory Manager to lead the orthopedic service line's ambulatory clinical operations across multiple clinics. This in-person leadership role requires a visible presence at assigned locations and regular travel to support operations, providers, and staff.
You will supervise clinic personnel, drive strategic initiatives, ensure quality patient care, and partner with hospital leaders to enhance access and efficiency.
The Ambulatory Manager leads the orthopedic service line’s daily ambulatory clinical operations, overseeing multiple clinic locations and supporting a large, regionally dispersed workforce of providers and staff. The role manages activities, operations, and performance of ambulatory orthopedic clinics across the region and supervises clinic personnel and leadership staff.
This is an in‑person leadership position that requires a visible presence within assigned clinic locations and regular travel throughout the region to support clinic operations, providers, staff, and organizational priorities.
Provides operational leadership for a geographically dispersed team supporting orthopedic services and serves as a key partner to physician, clinical, and administrative leaders to ensure high‑quality, efficient, patient‑centered care. Acts as a liaison between the Ambulatory Services team, Orthopedic Service Line team, and other departments. Leads strategic and operational initiatives to support growth, standardization, quality outcomes, regulatory compliance, workforce engagement, and financial performance within the orthopedic ambulatory service line. Markets and promotes orthopedic clinic services and identifies opportunities to enhance access, operational efficiency, and patient experience.
