Job summary

Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin is seeking a capable leader to supervise ambulatory areas, oversee clinic staff and coordinate services across departments. You will promote clinic services and identify new opportunities for Ambulatory Services while ensuring regulatory compliance and adherence to practice requirements.

The role emphasizes staff leadership, patient relations, and strong communication to support smooth clinic operations and exceptional patient care.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent knowledge) in healthcare or related business field required.
• Two years outpatient clinical or similar experience.
• Two years formal leadership experience required.
• Current CPR certification – BLS for Healthcare Providers through American Heart or American Red Cross is required or within 6 months of hire.
• Good organizational and patient relation skills.
• High level of communication skills for assessment of patient and family concerns and processing referrals.
• Ability to read, interpret and enact policies and procedures.
• Ability to stand and walk approximately 75% of the work time.
• Advanced analytical and decision making skills for resolving employee and operational problems and assist in budgeting and planning.
