Northern Kentucky University seeks a Coordinator for Events and Special Projects in the Office of the Provost. This role supports Academic and Student Affairs, manages credentialing data for accreditation, and coordinates strategic events and meetings across the university.
Responsibilities include administering the Faculty Success system, planning major events, travel arrangements, expense processing, and preparing meetings and reports with accurate data for internal and external audiences.
The Coordinator for Events and Special Projects is a highlyorganized role in the Office of the Provost who provides criticalsupport to the Academic and Student Affairs division. The roleensures compliance with faculty credentialing requirements andaccreditation standards, manages faculty data and reportingsystems, and coordinates strategic events and recurring meetingshosted by the Provost’s Office. This position also serves as aliaison to academic and administrative units across the university,supporting the Vice Provost through effective communication,project tracking, and logistical coordination. By combiningadministrative expertise, event management, and data oversight, theposition contributes to the efficiency, visibility, and reputationof the division.
Bachelor’s Degree and three years of experience required. Requiresthe ability to maintain confidentiality, exercise sound judgment,and demonstrate strong organizational and communication skills.Occasional flexibility in work hours may be necessary to supportevening or weekend events.
