Job summary

CoxHealth is seeking a Healthcare Revenue Manager to oversee patient accounting receivables, insurance follow-up, remit posting and billing across the system. You will identify trends using AR days and aging, ensuring financial viability and collaborating with other departments to adapt to payer requirements.

Strong analytical, coding familiarity and communication skills are essential; leadership experience is preferred to guide a team and improve departmental processes.

Qualifications

• Requires High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1–2 years of healthcare reimbursement, billing and/or accounts receivable experience.
• Preferred: 1–2 years of leadership experience.

Job Description

This position oversees patient accounting receivables/insurance follow-up/remit posting, and billing for the health system. The manager will identify and analyze trends and fluctuations across the system and individual campuses using key indicators such as A/R days and aging to ensure financial viability. This role requires close collaboration with other departments to implement necessary changes in response to governmental or contractual payer requirements. Additionally, the manager will continuously monitor and improve departmental and system processes.

Education

• Required: High School Diploma or equivalent

Experience

• Required: 1-2 years’ experience in healthcare reimbursement, billing and collections and/or accounts receivable


• Preferred: 1 – 2 year Leadership experience
