The successful candidate will bring proven experience transforming processes into automated, streamlined, technology-driven functions. This includes invoice capture, automated matching, workflow approvals, and electronic payments. The role manages an onshore and offshore team model and measures the AP function through clear metrics, service levels, and continuous improvement.

  • Allocate workload, manage service levels, perform quality reviews, and hire, coach, and cross‑train staff.
  • Lead transformation efforts targeted at replacing manual processes with automation, including OCR/AI invoice capture, automated 2- and 3‑way matching, electronic approval workflows, and straight‑through posting in SAP, partnering with IT on tools such as xSuite, and Infor Nexus.
  • Drive the continued shift of vendor payments from checks to ACH, wire, virtual card/early pay, and other electronic methods.

  • Oversee the end‑to‑end invoice‑to‑payment process for direct and indirect vendors, resolving purchase order, receipt, and invoice discrepancies with Sourcing, Production, and Logistics.
  • Manage weekly domestic and international payment runs, including multi‑currency payments and wires, and partner with Treasury on cash forecasting.
  • Support the monthly AP close, including accruals, GR/IR clearing, subledger‑to‑GL reconciliations, and intercompany balances across legal entities.
  • Ensure the integrity of vendor master data, including onboarding, bank‑detail verification, and duplicate checks.
  • Maintain internal controls, segregation of duties, and safeguards against duplicate and fraudulent payments; keep AP policies and SOPs current and support external audits.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for vendors: drive consistent statement reviews and resolve discrepancies.
  • Build strong working relationships with internal stakeholders and complete other assignments as directed by senior leadership.
  • Serve as the first point of contact for escalations both internally and externally.

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, Outlook, Visio, and PowerPoint.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication and customer service skills; strong team player.
