Texas State Technical College is seeking a Manager, Accelerated Training to develop and administer training programs for external partners across Texas. You will oversee budgets, supervise staff, and drive non-credit project delivery in a regional area.

The Manager, Accelerated Training is responsible for developing, implementing, and administering training programs for external partners. This position will deploy programs that generate profitable revenue and meet the needs of area industries. The Manager, Accelerated Training has the overall responsibility for supervising, budgeting, and directing the implementation and establishment of non-credit projects within their assigned region of the state.
The salary range for this position is $64,525- $67,500 annually. The final salary offer will be determined based on the candidate's qualifications and experience.

Manages the development, marketing, supervision, coordination, and execution of all training and instructional activities for customized grant and/or contract training while collaborating with industry partners (on-campus and off-campus) within a specified region of TSTC’s statewide footprint.
Oversees operating budgets and monitors expenditures of funds budgeted for the projects for which they are responsible.
Coordinates employment documents for customized training projects and supervises trainers/instructors and administrative staff that are assigned to those active projects and contracts.
Stewards and maintains relationships with individuals and stakeholders responsible for business and industry in the state of Texas, including Workforce Investment Boards, economic development corporations, City Chambers, community colleges, the Texas Workforce Commission, employers, and industry and professional associations, as it relates to specific contracted training projects.
Exercises strong organizational skills and attention to detail, ensuring accurate, timely, and efficient project completion. This includes managing multiple contracts and projects simultaneously, prioritizing effectively, maintaining structured processes, and delivering high-quality results efficiently.
Exhibits a strong aptitude for collaborating across departments and functions to achieve shared goals and maximize impact.

Associates Degree in related field; Relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree, except in cases where a specific degree is required to meet accreditation standards, licensure requirements, or other legislative or regulatory obligations. This includes, but is not limited to, certain faculty positions and staff roles governed by state or federal educational mandates 1 year of required management or leadership experience in business or industry.
Demonstrated successful ability in business, education, and/or training with knowledge of workforce development and instructional programs, 4 years required experience with managing budgets, comprehensive projects, and knowledge of evaluation methods.
3 years required demonstrated ability in project management.
2 year of required management or leadership experience in business or industry.

This is an on-campus position that requires employees to be physically present at a campus location at least three days per week
This role may require occasional travel to different office locations and events
Ability to perform essential physical tasks such as sitting, standing, walking, lifting, or other job-specific movements as needed.
Flexibility to work outside regular business hours as needed
This position is full time, requiring a standard 40-hour work week
This role is classified as salaried, exempt under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA)
