Job summary

Bluegrass Supply Chain seeks a dynamic Warehouse Manager to lead Columbus operations. You will manage daily activities, drive safety, productivity, and cost control while building capable teams and optimizing processes.

You will oversee inventory accuracy, inbound/outbound shipments, and leverage WMS to improve visibility and performance. A strong focus on continuous improvement and leadership development is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field (preferred).
• 3-5 years of warehouse management or operations leadership experience.
• Forklift certification required; heavy forklift experience strongly preferred.
• Demonstrated success leading and developing teams.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in WMS platforms and Microsoft Office.
• Solid knowledge of inventory management, shipping/receiving, and logistics operations.
• Strong understanding of workplace safety regulations and best practices.

Position Overview

The Warehouse Manager is responsible for the overall leadership and performance of daily warehouse operations. This role ensures the efficient, accurate, and safe handling of inventory while driving improvements in productivity, quality, and cost control.

You will lead warehouse personnel, oversee inventory accuracy, coordinate inbound and outbound shipments, and champion operational excellence across all functions.

Requirements

Leadership & Team Development

• Recruit, train, coach, and supervise warehouse associates, forklift operators, and order pickers
• Set clear performance expectations and hold team members accountable

Operations Management

• Oversee receiving, storage, inventory control, and order fulfillment processes
• Ensure on-time, accurate processing of inbound and outbound shipments
• Monitor productivity, quality, and accuracy metrics and implement improvementsOptimize warehouse layout and space utilization to maximize efficiency

Inventory & Systems

• Maintain accurate inventory records through effective cycle counting and physical inventory processes
• Implement and monitor inventory control procedures to ensure accountability
• Leverage Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) to improve visibility and performance

Safety & Compliance

• Ensure compliance with all safety, health, and regulatory requirements
• Conduct safety training, audits, and routine inspections
• Oversee warehouse equipment maintenance and ensure proper documentation
