Job summary

Quipt Home Medical in Myrtle Beach, SC is seeking a driven leader to supervise branch and departmental managers, ensuring efficient day‑to‑day operations and alignment with company goals. The role oversees policy implementation, staff training, budgets, and regulatory compliance, while managing Brightree functions, insurance verification, and prior authorizations.

You will maintain accurate documentation of equipment and patients’ financial responsibilities, lead recruiting and performance

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business or related field or equivalent experience.
• Strong written and verbal English communication.
• Proven leadership and team management capabilities.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
• Experience in healthcare equipment or home health is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee branch and department managers to ensure efficient day-to-day operations.
• Support achievement of company goals and maintain compliant processes.
• Manage policies, procedures, standards, and training programs.
• Oversee insurance verification, prior authorizations, and billing workflows.

Essential Responsibilities

• Supervise branch managers and departmental managers, ensuring efficient day‑to‑day operations.
• Maintain a working environment that supports the achievement of company goals.
• Understand company policies, procedures, standards, and training programs.
• Manage Brightree functions, intake procedures, insurance verification and eligibility, CMN requirements, and prior authorizations.
• Ensure accurate documentation of equipment and patients’ financial responsibilities.
• Resolve complaints and enforce quality standards.
• Lead recruitment, interviewing, hiring, orientation, and ongoing staff training.
• Set personnel practices, conduct performance reviews, and manage disciplinary actions.
• Maintain staff competency and adequate staffing levels.
• Develop and monitor budgets, identify cost‑saving measures, and contribute to revenue forecasting.
• Provide a motivational leadership style, identify training needs, and ensure HIPAA and compliance training.
• Communicate equipment capabilities and insurance coverage guidelines.
• Continuously develop knowledge and skills in all job areas.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Background investigation required.
• Valid driver’s license in the state of residence with a clean driving record.
• Bachelor’s Degree in business or a related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience in HME, home health, or business.
• One to three years of supervisory experience, with a minimum of one year prior supervisory experience.
• Three years of experience in home health industry.
• Strong written and verbal communication in English with physicians, employees, and patients.
• Knowledge of DME/HME, insurance policies, medical billing, and reimbursement practices.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
• Strong leadership, organization, time‑management, and problem‑solving skills.
• Self‑motivation and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
