Subway is seeking a Restaurant Manager to lead daily operations, drive guest satisfaction, uphold food safety standards, and manage staff and inventory in Jonesborough, TN. You will oversee team recruitment, training, and performance while coordinating local marketing efforts and events to boost sales.

The role requires strong communication, operational oversight, and a solid background in restaurant supervision; position is full-time and on-site with shift variability.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred.
• Minimum 2 years in a restaurant environment with supervisory experience.
• Excellent communication and computer knowledge are essential.

• Supporting local and national marketing initiatives, ensuring restaurant is ready on every level for the beginning of a new marketing window
• Planning special events and promotions

PREREQUISITES

Education

High school diploma or equivalent, college degree preferred

Experience

A minimum of 2 years in a restaurant environment, experience in supervising and training staff.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Must be an excellent communicator with the ability to deal with all levels of team members. Computer knowledge is essential.

Physical

Ability to work any area of the restaurant as needed and to operate computerized Point of Sale system/cash register. This position requires bending, standing and walking the entire workday. Must have the ability to lift 10 pounds frequently and up to 30 pounds occasionally.
