Diesel Barbershop in Frisco, TX is seeking a Co-Manager who actively leads from the chair and spends the majority of shifts cutting while supporting team development and shop operations.

This is a working leadership role, not booth rental or purely title-based, requiring pride in craft and team success. Excellent barbering skills and a proactive, professional attitude are essential.

Qualifications

• Active Texas barber or cosmetology license.
• Proven skill in men’s cuts, fades and razor work.
• Prior leadership or team lead experience preferred.
• Available nights and weekends.
• Reliable, professional, and solution-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Perform men's haircuts, fades, beard trims, and straight razor shaves.
• Build client relationships to drive rebooking and retention.
• Lead by example in professionalism, punctuality, and work ethic.
• Support hiring, onboarding, and training of new team members.
• Coach staff on performance metrics (rebooking rate, average ticket, retail sales, and service time).
• Enforce Diesel standards and procedures (service steps, appearance guidelines, cash handling, phone etiquette, appointments).
• Assist with cash drawer accuracy, deposits, and end-of-day procedures.
• Handle client concerns professionally.

Co-Manager – Diesel Barbershop

The Role

Diesel Barbershop is hiring a working Manager or Co-Manager. A licensed barber or stylist who leads from the chair. You'll spend the majority of your shift cutting while supporting team development, shop operations, and the client experience. This is not a booth rental and not a title-only position.
