Job summary

Diesel Barbershop in Frisco, TX is seeking a Co-Manager who leads from the chair and spends the majority of the shift cutting while guiding team development, shop operations, and client experience. This is a working leader role, not a booth rental, requiring pride in both craft and team.

The ideal candidate is a licensed barber or cosmetologist with leadership experience, available evenings and weekends, and a strong focus on professionalism and client satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Active Barber or Cosmetology license in Texas.
• Proven skill in men's cuts, fades, and razor work.
• Prior leadership or team lead experience preferred.
• Available nights and weekends.
• Must be available during shop open hours.

Responsibilities

• Perform men's haircuts, fades, beard trims, and straight razor shaves.
• Build client relationships that drive rebooking and retention.
• Lead by example in professionalism, punctuality, and work ethic.
• Support hiring, onboarding, and training of new team members.
• Coach staff on performance metrics (rebooking rate, average ticket, retail sales, and service time).
• Enforce Diesel standards and procedures (service steps, appearance guidelines, cash handling, phone etiquette, appointments).
• Assist with cash drawer accuracy, deposits, and end-of-day procedures.
• Handle client concerns professionally.
