Job summary

Blo is seeking a dynamic Bar Manager to lead day-to-day operations in our busy salon bar environment. Your high energy, people-centric leadership, and ability to motivate a team will shape guest experiences and sales.

You will hire, schedule, manage payroll and inventory, partner with marketing, uphold a squeaky-clean work environment, and deliver the Blo Hearts You standard. A Cosmetology license and 2+ years in staff management are required, with weekend availability.

Qualifications

• An up-to-date cosmetology license for the state.
• Ability to work weekends (Fridays and Saturdays) and be flexible with schedule (peak hours Thurs–Sat).
• A passion for the hair and beauty industry and making people feel better.
• Salon experience an asset.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations and vibe in-bar, with high energy and contagious enthusiasm.

• Work one-on-one with our Chief Style Boss (aka Educator stylist) to learn how to master Blo’s 7 signature styles and more (via Blo’s paid training program)

You Must Have:

• An up-to-date cosmetology license for the state
• The ability to work weekends (Fridays and Saturday) and be flexible with your schedule (must be able to work peak hours as determined by the bar, typically Thursday through Saturday)
• A passion for the hair and beauty industry and making people feel better
• Salon experience an asset
