Job summary

Blo in New Orleans is seeking a dynamic Bar Manager to lead day-to-day operations and the lively in-bar vibe. Your high energy and people skills will drive guest experiences and team performance, while you oversee scheduling, payroll, inventory and sales targets.

You will hire, train and retain a talented bar team, act as a brand ambassador for Blo, and collaborate with the marketing group to implement new initiatives, maintaining a clean and welcoming environment.

Qualifications

• Up-to-date cosmetology license for the state.
• Ability to work weekends (Fri-Sat) and flexible with peak hours.
• Passion for hair and beauty industry and making people feel better.
• Salon experience is an asset.

• Understand the importance of maintaining a squeaky-clean work environment in a salon
• Work one-on-one with our Chief Style Boss (aka Educator stylist) to learn how to master Blo’s 7 signature styles and more (via Blo’s paid training program)

You Must Have

• An up-to-date cosmetology license for the state
• The ability to work weekends (Fridays and Saturday) and be flexible with your schedule (must be able to work peak hours as determined by the bar, typically Thursday through Saturday)
• A passion for the hair and beauty industry and making people feel better
• Salon experience an asset
